Sam Ross is a photographer from Baltimore, MD. In 2016, Sam moved to Savannah, GA to obtain his B.FA in Documentary Photography with a minor in Advertising Photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Currently, he is a senior here, and is expected to graduate in June, 2019.
As a photojournalist, Sam has gone on to document sides to Savannah that the general public doesn’t typically see, such as radical leftists and a bubbling punk rock scene. This is inspired by an innate curiosity in the world around him, and a drive to better understand other people.
While his main interest in photography is photojounalism, Sam also reserves interest fine art photography and video work. In his off-time, he’s usually involved in writing, playing or listening to music.
